Anna Symonds
Director of Education, East Fork Cultivars
Anna Symonds is a cannabis educator and activist who has worked with family farms for the past four years. As Director of Education for East Fork Cultivars, a regenerative craft cannabis and hemp farm, Anna developed a free CBD-focused cannabis science educational program which she has presented for the staff at more than 100 dispensaries across Oregon, as well as for industry groups and the general public. Anna continues to educate and lobby lawmakers at the local, state, and national levels for full cannabis legalization, patient access, and removing the barriers to clinical research.
Anna is also a Women's Premier League rugby player and an Athlete Ambassador for the nonprofit Athletes for Care. She speaks frequently about the therapeutic benefits of cannabis for elite athletes and everyday people, and spearheaded a petition to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), signed by more than 150 former professional athletes, to remove THC from its Prohibited Substances list.
